What do I do when I know I'm called, but not equipped?

Called but not equipped. Have you ever felt that you were called to something greater and bigger than yourself? You had this deep yearning inside of you to do something great for others that would leave an impact? You feel called but you definitely don’t feel equipped so what do you do what steps do you take or do you even take them at all. I think of our good friend Esther in the Bible an orphan because her parents died at a young age. Living with her uncle just doing what was asked of her when everything changed. She was then called to the palace, the start of all pageants to see if she might be the next queen. Called but not equipped probably the least likely to get chosen as an orphan, living with her uncle who probably didn’t give her to the latest issues of vogue. What next, she prepares. It’s in the preparation that will either equip you to move forward or it’ll be your choice to move back. So she does what was required of her in that season and she became queen. To bad it wasn’t that she lived happily ever after she became queen. What Esther didn’t know was that she was about to make the biggest decision of her life. See it was once she was in the right position that gave her the authority to step in and save her people and her own life from being destroyed. Called but not equipped or was she truly all along getting the internal weapons she would need to walk in her full position and authority. Could that be the same with you? What internal weapons is God fashioning in you, is it perseverance, faithfulness, character, love? You my friend are called and equipped all you need to do it step out. So what are you waiting for?
